In short
We collect as little personal data as possible. The website uses no cookies and no advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served from our own server; the only outside script is Cloudflare’s cookie-free visitor statistics (see below).
Visiting the website
When you open the website, your browser automatically sends technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, and your browser and operating system. The website is delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.), which protects it against attacks and speeds up loading, and is hosted by our Slovenian hosting provider NEOSERV. Both process this data on our behalf solely to deliver the website and keep it secure.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare may also process data outside the EU; such transfers are based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Visitor statistics
To understand how the website is used, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views and records which page was viewed, the referring website, the type of browser and device, the visitor's country and how quickly the page loaded. Cloudflare uses no cookies and no fingerprinting for this and does not store IP addresses for this purpose; we only see combined statistics, never individual visitors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact form, email and phone
When you contact us through the form, by email or by phone, we process the details you give us (name, email address, optionally your company, and your message) in order to answer your enquiry. Messages from the form are sent by our web server as an email to our mailbox. Our email service is provided by Google (Google Workspace, Google Ireland Limited).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract or steps before entering into one; otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep the correspondence for as long as it is needed to handle your enquiry or as required by statutory retention periods, and then delete it.
To protect the form against spam, our web server remembers for one hour how many messages were sent from each connection. It stores only an irreversible, salted hash of the IP address – never the address itself. The hash is used for one hour only; older entries are deleted automatically the next time the form is used. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the form against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Settings stored in your browser
The website remembers your choice of light or dark theme and of language in your browser's local storage. This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.
Links to other services
Clicking our location opens Google Maps; clicking our email address or phone number opens an app on your device. Google Maps is only loaded once you click the link – from then on, Google's privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, simply contact us at the address above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Slovenia this is the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec), Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si. You may also contact the authority in your country of residence.
No automated decisions
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we never sell it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
